Introduction, curriculum vitae

Deputy Head of Department Cardiologist. Between December 2004 and December 2013, I headed the Intensive Care Department of the Adult Cardiology Department of the György Gottsegen National Institute of Cardiology. Since 2006, I have been the deputy head of the Adult Cardiology Department. I participate in outpatient appointments, inpatient care, related scientific research, medical and specialist training, but my main area of interest and activity is diagnostic cardiac catheterization and percutaneous coronary, or aortic valve interventions. I regularly give continuing education and scientific lectures at Hungarian and international conferences, as well as at the most important professional congresses (EuroPCR, TCT). Between 2011 and 2017, I organized 6 international conferences for many Hungarian and foreign professionals in Budapest in the field of coronary pressure measurement and physiology. In addition to percutaneous coronary interventions, I am an active member of the percutaneous aortic valve implantation (TAVI) program at our Institute, I deal with the care of heart failure patients, transplant examinations, post-transplant treatment, mechanical circulatory support, and pulmonary hypertension.
